Rice Krispies

I know what you are thinking.... Rice Krispies? They are easy to make and the directions are on the box, but whenever I buy the generic Rice Krispies it doesn't have the recipe and then I have to search online. So really I am posting this one for me. Just making it easy!
(yes the picture is sideways... again! I have no idea how to fix it.)

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 (10 oz) pkg. Marshmallows (about 40 regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature)
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Microwave in large bowl, the Marshmallows and butter for 2 minutes. Stir and heat an additional 1 minute. Stir until smooth.
  2. Mix in the cereal and spread into a greased 9x13 dish.

* I think these are cute with sprinkles! I ran out of candy tonight (I really didn't have much) before I took the boys trick or treating. So, I handed these out to a family from my ward that stopped by. The kids were surprisingly excited about it! I was glad that they weren't mad at me for not having any candy!! All the other trick or treaters got fruit roll ups!

I know these by heart. I don't need a recipe. Just use 1 bag of marshmallows, 1 cube margarine, (Melt these together till puffy) stir so that the stuff goes down, add about 1/2 box or so of rice krispies, stir again till well mixed. Pour into greased pan, and wah lah! There you have your rice krispie treats!~ Yummy!
