INGREDIENTS:
- 2-4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1/2 c. Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 c. Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- sliced or shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 large (32 oz) jar of Spaghetti Sauce
DIRECTIONS:
- Put the 1 T. oil in the bottom of the crock pot. *I just sprayed mine with oil and the chicken did get a bit crusty/burnt against the crock pot. So I will just follow the instructions next time or place some sauce into the bottom of the pot.
- Combine the crumb, Parmesan cheese and S&P.
- Dip the chicken breasts into the egg and then the crumb mixture. Place chicken in crock pot. Top with Mozzarella Cheese and then the sauce.
- Cook on low for 7-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Serve over pasta.
*I cooked mine on high for 3-4 hours and it still turned out nice and tender.
