My sugar cookie & icing recipe is HERE. Perfect sugar cookie. Just be sure to chill the dough for at least an hour, so that it is easy to work with. I usually roll the dough into a log and wrap it in saran wrap to chill overnight in the fridge.
I made these cookies for each of my twins preschool classes for all the smarties in their class. My boys loved putting the smarties on and counting as they went to be sure they all had 6 smarties each. The smarties actually taste really good on this cookie. Makes for cute "sprinkles" too.
